When I began my 2020, the one goal I set for myself is to finish what I started by faith, what I began in my off seasons.
When we set goals for ourselves, by making those hard but quality decisions; there comes a point where reaching it becomes the ONLY thing that matters.
Think about Olympic gold medalist. The time, dedication and sacrifice it takes to reach that platform and having that gold placed around their neck; that was a goal accomplished. A quality decision that says "No matter what", I'm going to finish my race with enthusiasm and determination to not just to reach the "Gold". But, more importantly, to become our highest best in the process.
Don't be afraid to turn away from the unpopular vote or the individuals who only want to waist your time (knowingly or unknowingly). Set your boundaries, and do nothing in vain, but with full intention and purpose. I set a goal to have 6 flourishing streams of income, and I can now finally see the possibilities of reaching that goal, due to my perseverance and sacrifice.
In a season where time seems to be moving faster and faster, I don't want to waste a second not striving for the big picture, the ultimate win. and if you are serious about your life and the goals you set for yourself, you would get aggressive and strict about what must be done.
In closing, Set you mind and keep it set on the higher things, Keep moving forward and don't be afraid of the quiet seasons, its where God speaks and reveals the hidden purposes of His mighty plan for our lives.
